Super Cute kids, super fun day

I had a fun day taking pics for my cousin and her kiddo's, even though the sun was beating down on me, testing my patience (and my fair skin). Rambunctious but stinkin' cute and super fun kid's, I'll tell ya that! Beautiful family all around. Oh, and I can't wait to get my hands on that tiny little Baby A! She was a sweetie! Here are a few shots from the day.

This is my favorite shot of the day

Friday's Fave Five

To play along and see what all the fuss is about , click here.

This weeks fives may strike you as kind of dorky, but hey, that's just who I am. Hehe!

1. Deals. I was very pleased to find these tee's for $3 a piece at Walmart early this morning. (When I say early this morning, I mean it! I was up and at Walmart at 4 am! Told you it was early!! OH and for absolutely no particular reason...other than being wide awake!)

I guess I was feeling a bit comic booky/super heroish at 4 a.m. :)

2. Wonderful Santa's inside the family. My awesome brother and his wonderful wife have sent packages to the kids for Christmas. Brand new coats, hats, scarves, & gloves! How awesome is that?!?!?!

3. Chef Boyardee. Ravioli for dinner tonight....need not say more.

4. Heat! When it's been so cold, I want nothing more than to crank the heat and stay under a warm fuzzy blanket all.day.long!

5. Christmas Cards. I know many people seldom send them out anymore or are even switching to a digital version of cards. But there's just something special about opening up the mailbox and seeing a festive card from someone you love. (Or a package on the porch!! Haha!) Let's me know someone was thinking of me. ♥

Thankful Day 6 & Thursdays Ten

I think I missed a day for my Thankful list...but I believe this one is great enough to cover two days also. I have also added my Thursday's Ten here. You can do your Thursday's Ten by visiting Lora over at Take Me the Way I Am

♥Thankful Day 6 and/or 7, also, Thursday's Ten #1
I am thankful, oh so thankful to the brave men and women who serve our country every single day and night; putting themselves in harms way and risking their lives, preparing to make the ultimate sacrifice if we, the American people need that sacrifice. I am warm in my bed each night and safe due to the work of these wonderful, amazing people. I cannot stress how thankful I am to the military for the immense list of jobs they must do and the danger they see just so I can enjoy the simplest of things in my life. A great big THANK YOU to those that are serving today away from their loved ones.
♥my family and close friends. they have always been here for me. always supported me. i can call on them anytime.
♥the material things that make my life easy and fun. electronics, books, crafting & scrapbooking, facebook, my camera. these things give me a way to cope with the more difficult things in life. they calm me. when life gives me a bad day i can use these things to leave the stress and rough day behind.
♥teachers. they have a difficult job. i don't think much more needs to be said about them. they're wonderful! :)
♥doctors, nurses, emts/paramedics. again, I don't think they need much explanation. they work strenuous hours all in the hope that they can cure, help and give hope to one patient.
♥necessities...all the things a family needs to function easily and properly. shoes, clothes, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, hygiene products. we all know why we appreciate them!
♥stability (my husbands job). we've been  in so many places with so little money. we are now where we want to be and are finally starting to feel stabilization. it feels so nice!
♥my wonderful, trusting, almighty God. he never fails, follows through with what he promises and loves and forgives more than any one person can or is willing to do.
♥health. both of myself and my husband and kids. we may not be in perfect shape but all in all, we are healthy.
♥the wonderful, yummy, yummy food that i just ate. :) Mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm!

I hope everyone has a very enjoyable and safe Thanksgiving! If you are traveling, stay safe on the roads or in the air...however you may be traveling!! God Bless!!

Friday's Fave Five

Yes, yes it is Friday!!! Which means one of many things...time for Fave Fives! Take a peek at Susanne's blog to see where it all started.

1. Like many others who have posted their 5 today, I have to mention cuddling under my blanket. It is such a great feeling to be able to snuggle up under my blanket on a cool night.

2.  Two words....Nick jr! I know my kids shouldn't watch so much t.v. But they do...and it has really saved my sanity!! AND taught my young en a thing or two!

3.  A family that supports me. Yes, my husband & kids do, but I'm talking about my parents and siblings. And even my close friends. I'm so grateful that I can call on them and it doesn't matter if they agree with my decision or not, they still support me.

4.  My husband's job. There was a time when we thought maybe he would never be able to obtain employment. (When you are jobless for so long, it seems never ending!!) He has a fantastic job now and although I wanted a job for myself before, I am able to stay home now.

5.  Music. ♪♫ Music is such an inspiration to me. It gets me through so much. And makes me happy. I've always loved music. From high school show choir to c.d's and the radio in the car. Gotta have it!

My, my, my...what a day!

Well, it has been a rough day in the Dilly house today! It started with being almost late getting Camden to the bus. We did make it, but was rushing and stressing to get her there on time! After getting her on the bus, we went to a friend's house that lives nearby. The kids had so much fun playing together. Until Kainan fell and bumped his head! It was pretty bad! I kinda started to flip out! (I think every mother gets a little overwhelmed with trying to decipher if a head injury is bad or not...they're all bad to us!) When this happened, I took him immediately to Jim at work so he could have a look at it. I mean, he does, after all have his EMT certification. Even though it looks horrible, he says it will be okay. Whew!!! And my next genius move, I was late getting Camden from the bus stop. They had an early dismissal. I must have timed it wrong. Oh, I could use a nap! {but I can always go for a nap, I can nap anytime!} I've been a little under the weather so this has all taken a toll on me.
On a good note, I'm getting a little house cleaning done and then watching a movie with the fam tonight!!
Thanks for reading, have a great weekend!!!

10 things Tuesday

10 Things Tuesdays! Ten things made you happy this week? Blog about them! Ten things you want to do before the week’s over? Blog them! Any ten things, any theme you wish. Check out the originator of 10 things tuesday at Magnolia Queen.

I don't know why I chose this theme this week, other than I have no creative juices flowing as of yet this week. But this week my ten is going to be things I wouldn't mind having. :)

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

10. A brand new Chevy Silverado-I love the look of these trucks!

9. A house of our own-I'm glad to have been able to finally get into a house, but renting is not our goal!

8. A wedding-Yes, I'm married but I'd love to be able to have that special day in the perfect dress....although it isn't important, it would have been nice to be able to have a real wedding.

7. A shopping spree-I can't remember the last time I was able to go out and spend money without worrying about not being able to pay bills...one outfit, is that too much to ask? Lol

6. A good, warm pair of fuzzy house slippers.

5. A haircut-I toss this idea around a lot...and then never do anything about it. I like my hair long and short...I'm so undecided.

4. A chocolate milkshake-it just tastes so good :)

3. A purse-I don't NEED one, but I would really like to have a nice, sturdy, stylish purse. Every woman should have one...and I don't. ;)

2. A visit with my family-I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. Most of them are in Indiana, mom, dad, brother & two sisters while my older brother & his family will be in Spain for the next 2+ years.

And my number one thing that I wouldn't mind having right now.......

 Sleep!
For whatever reason, I couldn't sleep last night. Was nearly 5 am when I finally fell asleep...I was awake at 7. :(
